behold, the house left to you desolate. (Matthew 23:38)

These words of Jesus to the nation of Israel apply. As we know, Jesus was a Jew, and He came to save the world, but especially the Jews, the chosen people of God for his grace. But the Jews rejected Jesus. Then Jesus said, a great chastisement nation would be infringed. Israel would become deserted, until near the end of time. The revival of Israel in 1948 indicates that we are reaching the end time.
